School Counselors are specifically credentialed professionals who work in school settings with students, parents, educators and others within the community. They design and manage comprehensive developmental guidance programs to help students acquire skills in the social, personal, educational, and career areas necessary for living in a multicultural society. School Counselors accomplish this by employing such interventions as guiding and counseling students individual or in small groups, by providing information through group guidance activities, by contributing to the development of effective learning environments, through student advocacy and through consultation and collaboration with all those involved in the student's life.
Miss Sclesky loves golf, skiing, exercising, running, traveling and being involved in community activities.
Miss Sclesky is an active member in the American School Counselors Association, the Pennsylvania State Counselors Association and the Westmoreland School Counselors Association.
