I am very excited to begin my 16th year of teaching! I received my undergraduate degree from Edinboro State University of Pennsylvania.
I have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and also obtained my Principal K-12 certification from Gannon University.
I spent the first three years of my career teaching in the state of California with the Temecula Valley Unified School District.
I have taught Kindergarten, Fifth Grade, Second Grade and (my favorite!) First Grade.
I currently live in the Greensburg area with my husband, our son, Dominic, and our daughter, Mia.
We have an adorable dog named Holly Polamalu. She is a puggle - that's a pug and beagle mix!
I absolutely love teaching and can't imagine a better way to spend my days.
Your child and I are going to have a terrific, fun-filled year of learning and growing together!
Mission for the class
The mission of Mrs. Urbani's classroom is to encourage each child to develop mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially during his/her first grade experience.
It is my responsibility to make each child’s school experience pleasant, interesting, and conducive to learning.
